DCV Precision Engineering has been supplying precision engineering solutions for 40 years. Based in Aldershot, it employs 12 people
The company provides specialist solutions for Aerospace, Undersea Exploration, Oil Exploration, Geophysical Equipment, Formula One and Waste Management Equipment customers.
DCV provides a complete precision engineering solution, from prototype to production as well as a network of local businesses, including grinding , heat treatment, welding, fabrication and metal finishing, that enables them to offer a diverse and comprehensive service.
They have an approximate turnover of over £1million per annum.
DCV ran their business on a basic Excel system which involved a high degree of manual management and did not necessarily deliver the standards needed to help the company grow.
Andy White, Managing Director said, "We met the Tricorn Systems team at an engineering show and asked them to visit us to discuss their software applications further."
When Tricorn met with DCV at their offices, the management team at DCV quickly realised that the Tricorn systems were exactly what the company needed.
The decision was therefore taken to work with Tricorn for what would be for DCV a major step forward .
Andy White was extremely pleased with all aspects of the installation processes. His comments on the installation, training and To-live processes are all extremely positive, "I was especially delighted with the detailed in-house two day training and their supportive and rapid response to all of our queries and questions. I felt that there was always someone there and that they care deeply about their customers needs."
Impact on Business
Andy is a huge fan of Tricorn because their systems have helped the company to grow, something which would not have been possible without them.
Andy stated, "Tricorn Systems software has sped up many aspects of our business processes, increasing efficiency. Information is now all in the right place and I am delighted with the outcome. I have already recommended Tricorn to other companies."
